Can the misled lead and guide the misled effectivily?

  I see this ALL the time!

  People present their guesses into an unknown subject like God's mind and thoughts and plans as answers and truth.

  But yet condemn others like the WT for doing it to them and label it "brainwashing" when they do it and it is brought out into the open for all to see.

  Problem is...when you present your guesses as answers..an answer is the end of a guess..and hinders others who trust you from searching further to find an answer..everyone loses that way and you actually "brainwash" others without really meaning to.

  I propose an experiment..I have to work and take care of my short term needs right now..and cannot be on here 24/7 to catch these and expose them before they get out of hand...Could I have some volenteers to help look for these guesses and remind others what they are...and we can see what the result is of looking out for one another like this. I don't think everyone does it on purpose..although I am sure some do. But I cannot read minds to know who is or who isn't...I would say the ones who get upset when their guess is exposed as such.I would find suspicious intentions lurking somewhere though.

  Any one want to volenteer? (I may even learn to spell it correctly someday witha little help.)

  I am all about finding and attacking "sources" of problems...fighting the "results" is a time consuming approach that does not yeild the results I am looking for...We need some answers...not guesses presented as answers.

  I suspect this is a "source" of our many problems...and need some help finding out if I am right about it or not. That is a huge undertaking that I am not capable of doing by myself. I cannot really see it being "wrong" in any way either.(but again I cannot see into the future) Just a gut feeling at this point.

  Also at this point what do we have to lose by trying something different in the quest for answers?

  Offering an opinion is one thing. Following it is another. We all offer opinions here. Some with more eloquency and reason than others. Some are more rigidly brought before you than others.

  Style is not an argument, only a probable proof of someones own confiction.

  Everybody has to consider and outweigh one argument against the other.

  There are no perfect men; Only perfect intentions..........and your own responsibility. And frankly, you may feel that to be a burden from time to time.

  Here´s another oneliner: somebody who never made a mistake, probably never made a choice.

  I made mistakes. I have to live with it. So what. I have learned to forgive my even gravest of mistakes. And everyday anew, I get the opportunity to work on that. But I´ll keep on making mistakes.

  I was babtized when I was 16. They asked me if I repeanted.........my god, I did not even feel the thrust of it. Did not really know what it was. I was a real greenhorn to life. What did I know about wrong doing.

  If it was asked of me now to answer that question I now can say, yes, some things I do repeant. Am I sorry to repeant? No! It all made me to what I am now. And in 20 years time more dimension will have been added to that. But I am not sorry for making mistakes. It´s my nature. You cannot escape it either. What are you going to do about it.....NOTHING....

  I have made mistakes that have led to two precious and beautiful baby boys.......

  Ask yourself this...

  If I started to beat on the youngest for wrongdoing...would I be proud of my six year old if he stood up to me and tried to protect the two year old from my wrath...or hate him and call him a tratior for doing so?

  Or would I want him to join me in condemning and punishing his little brother?

  NOW......

  What exactly do you think our Heavenly Father wants us to do?

  My JW mom has no response to this question when I just asked her.....she said she will have to call me back.

  Perhaps you know the answer to this question..or someone else on here does.

  I doubt that the presentation of their guesses is labelled as brainwashing.

  The brainwashing is the insistence of their guesses as "truth" that cannot be questioned, while other "idea" is rejected out of hand because it is simply "other" - reinforced with the notion that your existence is dependent on not giving due consideration to "other" (ie. "thinking wrong")
