I am not sure either! Being a jw for 30 years and now picking out a gift can be tough.

I was thinking some sort of a collectable to decorate the house with from your locality or country? I think I would like something to KEEP rather than eat. I would like something from your locality or country that you think I would enjoy and would like to look at somewhere in my house.

I like whales, nature, photography, and books and my ipod.

I am just looking forward to sharing a gift with someone and thankful someone wants to send me one as well!

I actually want/need expensive stuff like some electronics so maybe a gift card to a place like Best Buy would be useful.

But I really don't need anything. I need to get rid of stuff. I need to give things to other people because I never really did before, besides for anniversaries, weddings, baby showers, or graduations.

Anyone have good ideas for gifts for grandmas and aunts? Growing up JW equals terrible gift giver.

I love fresh babies, but the shipping's a bitch. SO I guess I'd like either something from your part of the world or something that tells me a little about you (whoever "you" are). Or if that's too vague and you like to take the easy way out - a DVD of "The Limey". Merry Christmas!

I love local artisan products. I'm an artist myself and I love to see what others come up with from various areas. I can say I don't like bath type products and clothing items. I love experiential gifts too.

I Love candles, room scents that you can put into a ring over light bulbs, cook books, if from a foriegn country a pin (I collect them) just any little silly thing. Its just fun to open any presents, and something from someone on this board will have special meaning.

I love cats and Dobermans so there is another hint.

Toiletries or ornaments are fine with me, but anything really. I'm just excited after so many years of not celebrating xmas, and not doing much last year, that I don't care what gifts I get. I'm just looking forward to the giving and receiving.
