You know, they were all riled up and saying that the tract would precipitate Armageddon and all.
Have any of them even noticed that NO one batted an eye in response to the "campaign"?
(besides us 'postates)
Isn't the tract-work supposed to be over now?
Any active dub disappointment 'bout lack of persecution from the CRAP TRACT

I'm thinking that if other religions even saw it, they didn't want to say anything as it would look like they were pointing and laughing at the retarded kid.

Was this tract the supposed 'big news' that was soon to come out? If so, what a bunch BS!

Now now.....let's give them a bit of time. After all, it's going to take a bit of time, planning and organizing on the governments part as to how they're going to turn on false religion first, and then by turning on the only religion that won't go quietly: the Witnesses.
LOL! Like I said before: this time, the GB spread the fear by word of mouth, not by pen and paper. That way, it gives them deniability when nothing happens (yet AGAIN). They can (once again), blame the R&F for "reading too much in" to what they were saying......

This is going to be just like every other big, important, CRITICAL, (stupid) handout campaign. They get everybody all worked up because it makes for at least a miniscule spark of excitment at the deadly dull assemblies. That excitment carries over into what ever month the pieces of tissue paper are being distributed...then....nothing. Nothing at all. The dubs won't even remember that the big persecution was supposed to come on the heals of their shocking handout. It will all just fade away never to be spoken of again. Until next time the WTS decides it needs to goose up the faithful.

ha ha- like making fun of the retarded kid...
Good analogy, Spectre, where did you learn to "teach like Jesus", using illustrations to reach the heart of your listeners? :)
Well, yeah, I know what we all think of the tract and how it's not even registering on the scale, BUT I want to hear if anyone's heard the true blue dubs voice anything...
Perhaps something bordering on ...disappointment???

If active JWs want persecution they should:
1) Hand out the tracts to people as they leave church
2) Hand out the tracts to people who are voting on November 7
3) Put the tracts in the mailboxes of people living in the US
4) Be sure to leave tracts at all the Do Not Calls and properties marked NO TRESPASSING
The days of whipping up persecution ended with Rutherford and the 30's and the 40's with Sunday witnessing, the flag salute and the pledge of allegiance. (in the US anyway)
*** jv chap. 7 p. 82 Advertise the King and the Kingdom! (1919-1941) ***
During 1927, Jehovah’s people were encouraged to spend a portion of every Sunday in group witnessing. Immediate legal opposition was raised. Within a few years, arrests began to mount—268 in the United States alone in 1933, 340 in 1934, 478 in 1935, and 1,149 in 1936. On what charge? Actually, on various charges, including selling without a license, disturbing the peace, and violating Sunday sabbath laws. The local groups of Witnesses were not versed in how to deal with police officials and courts. Getting legal help locally was either too expensive or not possible because of prejudice. So the Watch Tower Society wisely established a legal department in Brooklyn to render counsel.
A strong legal defense, though, was not enough. These sincere Witnesses of Jehovah were determined to live up to the name they had embraced. So, early in the 1930’s, they struck back by going on the offensive. How? By means of special preaching missions known as divisional campaigns. Thousands of volunteers throughout the United States were organized into divisions. When Witnesses were arrested in one town for house-to-house preaching, a division of volunteers from other areas soon arrived and "besieged" the town, giving a thorough witness.

I read a tract today from this lady who is part of some religion that was much more disturbing than the silly tract dubs are toting around.
Remember how excited all the dubs got when 9/11 happened because they thought it was the end. And then nothing...and they were all disappointed.

I totally wanted some persecution, and I didn't get any yet. I am disappointed, because I wanted to be at the door alone and then agree with them...
