Hi there and welcome,
Interesting your observations of its who you know, the politics of the congregation was a big factor for me in shaking the JW mindset off. As a male I was expected to 'reach out' and become like those who lorded it over the R & F. As usual, where as the Bible called such ones the servants of the congregation, in the modern JW congregation they are the masters. I knew i could never be a part of that, controlling people's actions and faith by traditions of men.
