  I'd like to know how the gb show their submission to Christ, who they continually refer to as "the head of the congregation", yet fail to give him the respect one would think his headship should command.

  It always seemed to me that the wts regarded the organisation as everything, far more important than Christ, and even in some ways more important than Jehovah. The most important demand they made was for submission to them and their rules, whether unscriptural, which they largely were, or not, and submission to a higher power took a back seat.

  Seems like some repetition for emphasis here.

  Many dubs I've known have always felt this way...at least that's what they've said outloud.. I've had JW friends tell me that they would do whatever the "Society" told them to do...even if it appeared to contradict the Bible.

  As I mentioned in one of my posts, I would like to know WHO the brothers were who Jesus or Jehovah communicated to and WHEN this happened. I want REAL proof of their supposed authority!
  
  I guess they want to whip the remaining naive JWs into submissive shape! They don't want anybody questioning anything. They want blind obedience which only an idiot can give. Sorry, but I don't follow titles of any self-proclaimed person. A revolutionary war was fought to free us from an abusive aristocratic class so why should I follow a presumptuous religion's claims to anything? It is the same difference to me.

  The strange thing is thinking about how all those years I never really thought much about this kind of junk, it just floated over my head. I could look back through study article after study article from the past 5 years and not remember hearing any of this stuff. Amazing what you are able to see once your eyes are opened.

  Recently on several threads I have said that the WT is preparing the way for some HUGE change. They are doing advance brain conditioning (neuro linguistic programming) so that when it happens the Gofors will just go along with it without demurring.

  Look at how they removed the Holy Spirit from the baptism vows. Nobody batted an eyelid.
