I'm a revert to Christianity, since 1966. I associate with members of the Catholic Church.

My 'new' religion is a humanity based one: I look, listen and read what other people say and do, then, I co-mingle my own personal feelings.

I know, I know...it's a really unique, radical approach... unlike anything anyone has ever thought of in the history of humans or rodents.

    <----------I call it Rabbitism

    So far it's working so-so.

After overdosing on the WTS teachings and practices for more than 20 yrs, any thought of enduring some other earthling man's diatribe on how I should live up to their standards makes me wanna hurl.

    I didn't convert to a religion.

My friend is gay!! He flys your flag>>>>>Do you have a flag like that too. But he LOVES God/

I'm very happy thank you very much, but not quite gay.

As far as loving god does, thou art god, I am god, my cat is god... and maybe even god is god...

    Hey RezRez,

Before you bother figuring out which Bible-based religion is the one you want to follow, you'd be well-advised to check into the validity of the Bible itself. Plenty of sharp and respected folks accept it as the word of God, but plenty of sharp and respected folks don't. If you do that research first, and decide the Bible's not what you thought it was, you'll save yourself a lot of time.

If in the end, you still believe it, then your faith will be strengthened anyway. Win-win.

    Good luck!

Dave of the "atheist with a solid eye toward humanist" class
