I can't believe this is even possible Screen shot

  I have finally connected my DVD, VCR and TV to my computer. Everything is working so far except the sound. (still working on that part.

  So I`m sitting here and get the bright idea to take a screen shot just to see if it would capture the video. I thought it would capture my screen and a still of what is in the TV window.

  Well Not only did I get an interesting screen shot but it captured the images on the TV. The video from the TV is now displayed in a photo image

  You probably won`t see the video in the image because it is coming off my computer and is in my cache

  But let me know what you do see (the image is slightly to the side so if you see anything is will be more rink than skater

  I`m flabbergasted at this

  I figured that is all you would see or perhaps a still but I'm still watching the skate show on JWD. I'm still laughing at it

  Now that I have closed the link all I see is the blank screen too.

  Lee all I see is a blank TV screen and a small area of your desktop. Cool TV btw!

  How the heck do you do a screen shot I've heard of them for years but never bothered to figure out how to do it. If it's harder than burning a CD forget it I'm so not going to understand!

  Hold down theCtrl and PrtScn key at the same time. Then open your imaging program (I have PaintShopPro) and paste into a new image.

  It took me years to learn this too

  I have one of those..........somewhere...........on my computer..........it's a virgin, never been touched! It will probably stay that way, sigh.

  I'm like you bikerchic. I have paintshop. Like you it is a virgin program. Go to your DeskTop or open your All Programs and take a looky. I'll play around with it tomorrow. Time for beddy bye right now.

  I don't know if I'm brave enough - actually I can't as my 'puter is in a bedroom w/no TV.

  This is so bizarre.

  The image is saved as a gif. I had closed the program and when I came here the screen was black - the way you all see it. So I wondered what would happen if I turned the program back on.

  And wouldn't you know -- I can watch the news on the TV and on my compouter AND in my first post above
