How many eJW forums do you belong to ?

I am registered to about maybe 4 but only look at the others quickly, to see whats going on. I usually spend my time here.

The big thing I started to notice is that it is always the same dozen or so peeps, I couldnt see the point in going from one forum to the other as they are all talking about the same thing (or poster)

So if you go regular to other forums how do you keep up with all the in fighting (which really puts me off) and the continual banter between the select few.

What do you get out of other EX jw forums that you dont get from here ?????

I've visited other forums, but only post on here. This is the best one as far as I am concerned.

I'm on a pro JW forum.... for the moment.

It appears that I've been outed and the administrator is debating whether to expell me or call a JC.

Either way I'm soon to be deposited in the 'RECYCLE' bin.

I used to go to the others, but it usually brought me down to see all the infighting.

The most ironic is how the people doing all the fighting are the same ones who, if you asked them, would say they are OVER THE DUBS and DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF ME, and I'M MY OWN PERSON. But sadly they are oblivious to what they have become...an alter ego of who they were in the Org and a continuation of the kind of backstabbing and rumoring that was so prevalent there.

In my opinion it's a place to go when people get stuck...unless you can learn from it what to examine in yourself. Not so say there aren't a lot of good people at those places, but the negativity and infighting seem to prevail so that the pleasant conversations are drowned out.

Ummm... I'm signed up on two or three other forums... under the same name.

I like some of the folks that post on one of the forums... but a lot of the other folks seem to be behaving very much like high school students.

I don't need to be hanging around high school students.

I _do_ miss a good chatroom... there used to be one... the folks that frequented it knew each other, and were friendly - not out to 'out' someone (whatever that means).

I read and occasionally post to the XJW Support Board (sometimes called Tishie's in honour of the founder). It is mostly very very cosy and friendly, although sometimes they are a bit hypersensitive about the "no preaching" guideline. They also have a "Screeching Board" for more excitable posts!

I'm on one more, but I haven't visited there in a while. I tired very quickly of the trolling and the drama.
