About 24 hours, from the moment I first allowed myself to see their dishonesty regarding blood and therefore do further research, to the time I told someone, "I'll never consider myself a Jehovah's Witness again; I'll still probably believe 95% of the same things you do, but I'll never consider again myself a Witness". Do. not. lie. to me.
But within 2 months of that, I no longer even believed god was properly referred to as "Jehovah". The rest is history ;)

1st month = Screw it, I can't take the pressure I'm out. (but not yet!!) I hate this life.
2nd month = OMG ... it was all a lie??!!
3rd month = research research research
4th month = making friends outside of the org
5th month = operation: Get my family out (no luck there ...)
6th month = family told on me and so I had to DA

You`ve heard of Alzhiemers.Jehovah`s Witness`s get Jozhiemers.It must be contagious,they all have it...
I had a bad case of that until I started missing meetings about 16 months ago. Recovery was slow until I started doing serious research into the wts in September last year, and by November I had all but recovered, and da'd.
