Met a small group of Jehovah's Witnesses today
A couple of Jehovah's Witnesses came to my door today. At
first my reaction was that I was not interested and I let them know
that as I was closing the door.
However, after I closed the door it dawned on me to question them
regarding the United Nations issue. And so I ran after them and
started to question them regarding the issue.
The Confrontation
Two of them knew absolutely nothing about it. The third one
said "Oh, yes, I know all about it—it was a big controversy!"
I proceeded to show her the documents regarding the issue
including Paul Hoffels letter and some letters from the Society.
Her reaction? "Oh, those are from the internet? she asked."
"Yes, they are I answered." She proceeded to say," In order to
get anything accurate it has to come from Watchtower.org"
In other words, everything from the internet is discounted or
discredited based on the fact that it did not come out of the
Watchtower Society.
The Conclusion
She also claimed that they had all of the "documents and
paperwork" regarding the United Nations issue in the King-
dom hall. I invited the group to come back with such
documentation to prove their case.
Does anybody know if the Watchtower has documentation
in the Kingdom Hall proving their innocence regarding the
United Nations issue?
Respectfully,
The Wanderer
