If there is any chance carelessness on my part (due to my not knowing) might condemn someone else to the same illness, then yes.

If not, then no. I would rather live like I am dying every day anyway ... 'cause, for certain I am going to die ... if I live long enough.

Yes, I would need to know. That way, I could get my affairs in order, and do some of the things I'd always put off doing.

This is leading somewhere..........I sure hope everything is going to be ok, Lola?!

    Hugs, Dee.

::Right now I'm in the "I don't want to know" side of this so I'd like to hear what more of you have to say.

    Lola, are you okay?
I'd want to know, because depending on what it was I wouldn't procrastinate with certain things in my life.

I would definately want to know-I prefer to live with reality. My daily priorities may need to be changed based on that.

    What's going on?

    YES

I have dealt with this. It is always better to know because I believe there is always something that one can do to improve the quality of life no matter the diagnoses.

My siblings refused to be tested for a genetic disease that they had a high probability of having, putting their live's in danger. I have one disease that can not be treated but I have a higher quality of life via my diet and lifestyle, and two other diseases that can be treated with medication and regular blood removals every 10 weeks since 1994, for the rest of my life.

I pray you are not facing something personaly. Please reach out to someone of you are. Don't face it alone.

I'm not sure what I would do right now - but I know I would want others to know and do all the things they could to make it easier for those who love them.

BUT I'm really sorry you have to even think about this and if you get the test I hope it comes back negative and you feel the relief and live life to the very fullest.

I did have to get a blood test once a long time ago and although i was terrified i just had to know personally, because worrying about it every day was too much. But that was me and mr situation back then. But are you okay Lola?
