I am near Dallas, and we are having tornado warnings right now. It is dark and windy, and we are expecting a massive cold front with possibly 3 inches of snow. (I would be really shocked if that happens!) I like storms though, so it is exciting to me!!! Hope all the Texas friends stay safe! Don't blow away!!

Weather's wierd in Wisconsin also. We had 2" of snow in Oct. where I live. Haven't had any since. Been very mild this week w/rain. Supposed to turn colder tomorrow.

Howdy MM stay warm. I know this is nuts violent thunderstorms due any moment and weatherman on channel 5 said temp will drop about 40 degrees in next few hours and this rain will freeze if too much Ice I won't open the shop. I take the high 5 to and from work. I will go the back way. I live in Turtle Creek and work in Garland I am not worried about snow but Ice now that is another story

Several years ago on my way from Dallas to Gainesville, a tornado jumped the highway (35) right over me. Near Gainesville. That evening we had 3 tornados in 2 hours. We even lost our roof!!
During the ice storms in Dallas, for some reason, I was one of the nurses iced in, ALWAYS!! We'd go up on top of Methodist hospital, on the care flight pad, and watch all the crazies drive, and all the wrecks!!
Let me know if any tornados hit near Gainesville, TX?? please!!

Yes....Ham, and people don't know how to drive on the ice...especially here! My hubby works in Irving, and since they can, all the employee's are working from home tomorrow.
