Like I've just been subtly hijacked into going along with somebody's religious worldview.
"Have a blessed day" - How does that make you feel?

Perhaps you would prefer, "Screw you and the horse you rode in on." Sheesh! Some people are wrapped just way too tight, or are completely prejudiced against anything with a Christian conotation as the following excerpt of a post demonstrates:
On the other hand some of my friends in the wiccan/pagan or new age community will end an e-mail with "Brightest Blessings" or "Blessed Be". I myself may end an e-mail with something similar. That doesn't bother me at all, for me it's a different energy, a different vibe that I am personally comfortable with.
Why not just take the statement in the positive light that it is usually intended in? Why does everything have to be offensive? Perhaps you would like people to stop saying good bye, since it is a contraction of God be with you. Oh wait, let me guess, that is not the conotation of the word now. Perhaps adios should be expunged from the vocabulary, also?
This appears to me, just another manifestation of the "tyranny of the minority." Just because a minority of people are offended by something, it can no longer be said or done.
I knew I should have worded my post differently before hitting the submit button! I do admit that I have my biased opinions. Somtimes my anger towards the JW's does have a tendancy to come out against other Christians. I am working on that as I don't want to make generalizations. I do realize that just becuase JW's have hurt me doesn't mean all Christians are bad.
There is on point of my post that I want to bring out:
If I feel the individual is trying to be loving by sending a blessing my way then I am cool with it (no matter how they phrase it).
If a person (no matter what they believe) says to me "Have a Blessed Day", "Blessed Be", "Brightest Blessings", etc, etc and I feel they are coming from a place of love, I truly have no problem with that. But when I sense it is coming from a place of "I am better than you and you are terrible so therefore I am going to give you blessing" I must say that I would take offense to it. Whether it came from a Christian, a Pagan, a Hindu, or who ever else.
I am sorry for my lack of consideration in my comment. I will make sure to carefully consider my words before I post. I do not wish to come across as being prejudiced to anyone or any groups of people.

Also, I would add, sometimes I sense that they are studying my face closely when they say it, like they're trying to figure out by my response if I'm a brain-dead evangelical xtian like them, or a hellbound other-religionist, a double-ass hellbound agnostic, or a triple-ass hellbound atheist.

It used to bother me until a friend who is a retired army colonel said it to me.
His office was on the side of the Pentagon that was hit by one of the airliners on 9-11. It took two weeks for enough rubble to be cleared away so he could retreive what remained of his automobile which was in the adjacent parking lot.
He had left his office for an unscheduled meeting that he was notified about less than 5 minutes before the plane crashed. His office was totally obliterated.
Personally, I'm glad he can say, "Have a blessed day."

Isnt blessed or bless'ed more of a pagan saying? Sometimes people just have a saying they use with no real meaning. Mine is "hava goodun" I dunno I guess you heard the words and the inflection behind them.
ya the xian version would sound "icky"

A simple and entertaining experiment would be:
"May Satan bless you and may the bright light of Lucifer shine upon you"....
Watch for the facial reaction to see how they enjoy a Satanist perspective being shoved in their face....LOL...
