when you will have been an exJW for as long as you were a JW?
I was raised in the JWs from before the age of 10, and stopped going to the KH at the age of 31. I was involved with the JWs for a total of 23 years. I will be 54 years old by the time I have spent more of my life as an exJW than I did as a JW.
I will be 31 when I surpass my time in the JW "religion".

What a horrible thread!! I will be 72, how depressing. Then again, how grateful I am to have gotten out in my 30s and not my 40s or 50s

I'll be 46 when that happens.
Hmmm, lets think...I was 6 when my parents started dragging us to the meetings. I'm 35 now. I got out about 2 years ago (I think).
62? I guess that's right. I'd be around 60 years old...Yuck..but agreeing with GGG, at least I wasn't 60 when I got out.
Oh, man! This is depressing...
9 when I was 'hired'. 32 when I walked out and decided to wait for them to get back on the right path.
44 when I found JWD and realized that they were never on the right path to begin with.
35 years believing would put me at 70 years old for the 50/50 mark (because I get to keep those first 9 years, right?? Otherwise I will be 80 and that's just too far away.)
MUCH better to have learned this now while I still have a chance to enjoy my life...

I wasn't an 'exJW' from 0-9 years.
I need to change my answer to: 80 years old.
