Post your experience here if the JWD forum has ever been the vehicle that got you exposed for being an apostate or visiting apostate sites. Has anyone here ever had a wife or family member find this site bookmarked, in their history, or on the screen of their PC? What was the response and what was your retort, if any?
Anybody ever caught you here?

jwfacts
I ran jwfacts.com for 6 months before the elders caught me. I refused to admit it was my site, so they got an IT expert to trace my registration details etc on the internet and search only all the comments jwfacts was making on the Internet. That brought them to this site. They tracked my postal address from my site registration, then used 'apostate' comments that I made on JWD to prove I was apostate.
Funny thing was that I had already sent a letter requesting anullment, saying that the WTS is a cult by Liftons criteria. The letter provided enough information for them to d/f me anyway, so they did not have to go to such lengths. They were intent on proving I was an evil Internet apostate.

When I first came back from texas and was staying with my mom, she looked up my history. I didn't really care. She figured out my username, and like a good little JW, told the local elders. I could really care less about this, too. I don't knew these guys, or want to.
But she would really crap if she knew my little brother posted on here every now and then!!
Whenever I'm at her house she asks me not to get on "those" sites, it might harm her computer. Yes, that is exactly what she says!! It's really laughable, sometimes!!

If you're in a situation where being 'caught' here would be a problem for you, post no personal information, and be cautious of any identifying information at all...
'at last nights meeting this kid had a giggling fit on stage'
'my brother's upholstery company is going bankrupt'
'we went away for Hoosier day weekend'

Poztate
I was almost caught by my wife a few years ago when she entered the room unexpectedly. I quickly shut down JWD.
She noticed my action and "asked" what I had been up to. I kind of hinted that it was something that she shouldn't look at and she jumped to the conclusion it was PORN
I didn't clue her in as we all know looking at a porn site is no big deal compared to looking at a POZTATEā¢ site.

Ever see the movie Water World? Rememeber the scene at the end when the flare got dropped down inside the oil tanker? Remember the old guy sitting in the little boat on top of all that oil? Remember what he said when he saw the flare hit the oil the instant before it exploded? ....He said, "Oh thank God." I think that would be my response if the Overseers (crack that whip) found out I posted here.

I was caught by my mother the other day. She bought me some kfc. I explained to her that I've never seen so much intelligence and we are not evil hate mongers. I encouraged her to see for herself. I doubt she will though. The way I see it if she can tell people what she thinks, I can tell people what I think. Besides if this is helping me what could be wrong with that.
