What's the most meetings you went to in a row, without missing any?

  When I was 18, I once went to meetings for a full calendar year without missing a single one. That was when I was new and very zealous... My how times have changed!

  When I was ass-kissing the elders and CO reaching out to be an elder, I once went 4 months (18 weeks) without missing aa single meeting - so 54

  I don't think i was ever a 'good' jw, i doubt if i went longer than a two week period without missing a meeting, and that was during the time i was trying to go regularly and used to write down the ones i missed and why!I did used to get bad backache and ibs and was newly and back then not happily married, plus working fulltime and just found it such a struggle!Later on i also found that all the tv programmes i like best always seemed to be on a tues and thurs night, so i missed more than i went to!I also used to miss the memorials and assemblies quite a bit too - tuttut!(come to think of it i bet they're quite glad i've left them now!)

  In the mid-70's I never missed a regular meeting and also had a few JC and elder meetings every month. This did not include home Bible studies, shepherding calls and field service. I also did a lot of guest speaking for public talks in other congs. sometimes attending my own Sunday meeting before or after, schedule permitting. Also, it was fairly common to be cornered by a brother or sister after the meeting and spend an hour or so discussing a concern of theirs. I am not complaining about the latter demand on my time, these were very good people who were trying their best to deal with some serious situations. All this time, I was also the husband and father of a big family (5 kids by '78) and making a living.

  Way back when, I made way too many in a row to count.
  It might have been 200 or so, perhaps less.

  Now, I don't think I ever make more than 4 in a row. I am
  going to start missing more in January.

  September 1996 to August 2006. Only missing meetings if it snowed or I was sick. So I guess I missed about maybe 3 meetings a year between that time. If i'm counting service/theocratic as one meeting and public talk and watchtower as one and the book study as another.. 30 meetings out of 1560 meetings over the period of 10 years. I can count on one hand the number of times I missed the book study, 1 being on 9/11. It was a good run *sniff*
