As many of you know, my husband is a disabled veteran. The truck that we have wasn't working out with his disability. We had a lift on the back, but it was taking more energy for him to use then he had. So, I called the VA and used the grant that they offered to partially cover the cost and got a loan from KATCO (Kansas Assistive Technology Cooperative) for the rest of the cost. He got his gift on Friday.

Ain't it the truth! For someone who's broker than a broke (*&^ dog, it came out pretty good. I was afraid that KATCO was going to turn me down, but the car dealer pulled some strings and got it to go through. KATCO stretched out the payments for 84 months, so the car note will be within our price range.
You're awesome. But I'm sorry he has to use this at all.
