I had an RX-7. It was a lot of fun but nothing but problems with those engines. Wiring problems too. As they age the seals break down in the engine so there is no compression if you don't let it warm up. Next time you go to use it, it won't start. You have to pour oil in and crank for at least 20 to 30 minutes. It finally starts but you fill an entire neighborhood with ghastly black smoke.
Also, I couldn't find one mechanic that new how to work on them. When I took it to the dealerships they didn't want to bother with it.
Finally sold it to a young kid that new how to work on them for $800.00.
