I take each individual issue on it's own merit instead of sticking to one party line.
I always have viewed the 2 major parties as like riding a bicycle. If you lean too far to the right or too far to the left, your bicycle is going to either wipe out or just keep turining around in circles! Being a centrist keeps you balanced and going straight.

I didn't even know it, until I left the Borg. But, that is definitely where I am, a Democrat, all the way. And, I support the Republican leadership too.
