Another Watchtower Mindset?
It amazes me how Jehovah's Witnesses think. However, at the
same time it terrifies me to think that I thought in the same way.
The Stormy Conversation
A conversation with a Witness about the United Nations and the
Watchtower Society produced a fire-breathing episode in which
the witness protested there was nothing wrong with the Watch-
tower Society needing a “library” card from the United Nations.
She justified her position because "the Watchtower is just
trying to confirm bible prophecy.”
However, when I brought it to her attention the Watchtower
associated with the United Nations her reaction was “you
can’t trust the United Nations because they are led by
wicked men.”
In other words, it is okay to use their library facilities and other
information sources but you cannot believe anything they have
to say? —Give me a break!
Does anyone have any similar experiences to this type
of contradicting doublethink mentality?
