    watching the view right now.

sherri, a funny woman, who will probably rreplace star in the show,

well they were talking about pat robertsons prediction, and sherri said she is leary, as she use to belong to a religion, where they went door to door and handed out pamphletss, and said the end was coming in 1995

(although i think she meant 1975)

so that might be an in with getting on the view if one has published a book, etc

She credits her success as a comedian to Jesus Christ and she is a member of the Greater Bethany Baptist Church.

It does say she was raised as a Jehovah's Witness.

    Edited to add...

It also says she is married to comidian Jeff T. Could it be our Jeff T?

Rats! You beat me to it. I just posted a thread on this topic.

She said on the show that her husband cheated on her so they are getting a divorce.

I thought Rosie O'Donnell replaced Star or was that Meredith. I wouldn't mind if someone replaced Rosie.

I wonder if Sherri's family are still JWs and if they shun her?

Rosie replaced Meredit Vierah and is on vacation now.

Barbara Walters continued to defend her today and said Donald Trump is wrong, and that she does not regret hiring her, just the opposite. She was great and told everyone the ratings are the highest ever since Rosie joined the show.

I'm no Donald Trump fan but as I understand it Rosie launched the first salvo.

If ratings is what Barbara wants, it seems she has become a ratings whore.

I saw it the day Rosie said all those things about Donald Trump, and I really thought she went too far. I like her very much, and agree with most of what she says, but she kind of went ballistic about his morals, and how he says he is a self made man, informing everyone about the inheritance he got from his rich family.

But he was just vicious in his retaliation and fired back with horrible insults about her weight, her looks, and her talent. He said she lost her first TV show because of no talent, and low ratings, and even said she was fired, and that is not true. Everytime he is interviewed about her, he says worse things. She hasn't said anything since the first time. So I have concluded that you don't criticize Donald Trump!! His mammoth ego cannot take it.

Barbara Walters also said today that Rosie left her first show several years ago because she wanted to spend more time with her children. The show was not a failure.

I used to give Donald the benefit of the doubt, but now I think he is a creep. Wish I could think of a better word.

I totally agree with you Mulan. I saw the show that day and too thought Rosie was over the top. What Donald said in retaliation was just plain pitiful! What a garbage mouth he has, and I can only think he has the mind to go with it. Creep doesn't fit but I would have to be censured to say what I really think of him now.

I was looking forward to another year of the Apprentice I really liked that show but will be boycotting it this year for sure just out of principal and will never support anything which comes from THAT MAN! I'm putting my money where my mouth is, LOL boycott him and his show, yeah I'm just one person....sigh.
