I found a way to keep my mind active without anyone figuring out what I was doing. I wanted to brush up my Spanish, so took a Spanish Bible and looked up the scriptures as they were read from the platform. When they weren't reading scriptures, I continued to read. My notes would consist of writing down the Spanish word, figuring out English equivalent. At the end of the meeting I felt that I had accomplished something. Never hurts to improve in foreign language skills.

    Thebiggestlie,

How do you do it? Sit there and listen to that and still not think it is the truth?

I posted that thread several years ago, and it took me awhile to find it, so I hope some of the new ones read it. It's fun!!

I assure you, you weren't the only one...

Be sure to watch the stage out of the corner of your eye, though, in case the Kool Aid guy makes his appearance.

    Yikes!

it's partly creepy. partley fascinating, the psychology of it all.

    I echo your thoughts

the last assembly I went to I remember the speaker saying " trust us brothers and sister".

I chuckled and got a bad look from wife.
