For most of the time in, I aung around with the pioneers, as I was one myself for 6 years. I had one close friend who was never a pioneer as well, and spent some time in her company.
Who did you hang around with amongst the JW's in your congregation?

Hung around with pretty much everybody, at least those who were strong or really trying. Now I still hang out with just about everybody - my house is pretty much the party house for most of the young people in the hall, especially the young couples. I just don't do much anymore as I am starting to "fade"

Not many but I have heard of others. They were not sponsered by Bethel. The one my kids went to was directed by an elder in Riverside California, all the teachers of course were JWs.
When it closed after about 3 years, well it was open before that but my kids went for three years, I took them to a little classroom that was taught by thier favorite JW teacher. It was a converted garage. So it was like being homeschooled by a teacher. After the kids grew up we talked about it and they said of all the schools they attended, public and private that was their favorite one.
