Very good show!
I thought it odd that the scientist who set off the bomb is a very popular Canadian comedian named Shaun Majumder (sp?). An Indian born and raised in Newfoundland ... odd combination. It's funny seeing someone in a character that you wouldn't normally see them in.

I've never watched 24 but lately I've thought about renting all the older ones and giving it a go. I never get around to watching anything when it's actually on the air
(aside from Soprano's and Big Love). From what I've heard from most people here is they either love 24 or they don't. I do have to say the previews I've seen look really good.
