Kinda cute actually, plus getting Michael Caine to narrate is a feather in their cap..
Being in the design field my viewpoint differs.
The creativity employed was exceptional. An individual
has to separate themselves emotionally from the
Watchtower for a moment and look at the talent
that was involved in making the claymation.
I know what it is like to create a project and
the work that goes into such a project from
the first idea to the storyboards to the
final production can take weeks if not
months.
This does not mean I support the witness
ideology though. Just giving credit where
credit is due.
Respectfully,
The Wanderer
I thought it was a bit creepy.
The Wanderer,
I agree. There is another video on youtube involving "Super Pioneer" or something like that. The quality is actually very good. It gets really depressing to know that these creative and talented people are wasting their lives away in the borg.
I thought it was cute for the most part. The claymation used is something that takes a lot of talent and hard work.
I certainly don't agree with the message, but it was cute.
I liked the Super Pioneer Bro. That was pretty funny.
Well, I thought it was interesting they find a YOUNG GIRL HOME ALONE as the only person willing to listen...LOL! Prey on the weak and uneducated?
oh how a wee bit self-righteous they feel
when they go out in service, put their hands behind the wheel.
the poor dog, wasn't that crude?
what selfish people, weren't they rude?
the world and all that's in it is so self-obsessed.
If only those dubs knew, they are just pests!
I may have to rip this down and change the soundtrack to a more realistic presentation.
Wow! What an abuse of Playdoh!!
As said earlier, it's sad to see such talent going to waste. These people obviously have some impressive skills. As someone who has never been a jehovah's witness I can tell you it completely seemed like a weird, disturbing cult movie (do they really want outsiders knowing how they view them?). Of course, lots of cult groups have members who use their otherwise squandered talents to make cult promotional materials. Sometimes claymation movies, sometimes cartoons. I believe even the Scientologists have been known to make a few movies! Battlefield Earth, anyone?
Now, what'd really impress me is if it were a film by a bunch of Amish...
By the way- the Pixies rock!!!!!!!!!
