"Nos, I've never heard that, but will have to listen later. "
This was one of the songs on Alice Cooper's visit to the Muppet show. He sang it to Miss Piggy of course!

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley
1. Begin the Beguine - Artie Shaw
2. Into the Mystic - Van Morrison
LMAO @ TJ
I submit "Lover Lay Down" by Dave Matthews Band to redeem myself.
Peggy Lee "You give me fever" a classic song from 1956 with Lee's relaxed style and "Spomething's gotten hold of my heart" especially the more recent version with Marc Almond.
Why Worry~ Dire Straits
OMG, Sparkplug, this was my "wedding song" (can't believe I got approval from the elders) during my reception in 1988.
Winter's Song--Cowboy Junkies. A beautiful waltz.
She says, 'It's cold where you brought me'
He says, 'Darling, don't you worry,
you can stay in my arms
until the springtime comes
We'll let the snow drift around us,
and wait for the robin and the crocus
to tell us that our love has again found the sun'
Lone oak stands tall,
bare arms scratch the sky,
dry leaves cracking beneath our feet
Hand in hand we've watched
the autumn fires burn -
Summer's dreams collapsing,
chestnuts in need of gathering,
the whole world lies rotting in the street
Soon we will walk with collars high
like ramparts raised for the siege
We'll bow to her beauty,
cower from her fury
sent as a judgement for a slight
long past forgotten
Winter's love once again unrequited
Winter's love once again unrequited
She says, 'Babe are you sleeping?'
He says, 'No, wide awake and thinking
of a dream I just had about the two of us,'
He takes his hand to her cheek now,
his lips to her brow,
their whispers pile softly
by the foot of the bed

OK, so I'll be the odd-ball... No "romantic" songs to contribute, but LOVE Songs nonetheless...
"A Promise Fulfilled" - composer Zola Levitt:

There's a male soloist version, and then a male/female duet version of that particular song. It's from a CD entitled "Love Stories of the Bible."
Glorious, Gorgeous Music. The composer was a genius (all of his music is nothing short of awesome, imho), and the soloists must be transplants from heaven is all I can say.
If you're looking for something totally different from the bump and grind style of music, check it out... very reasonable prices, too.
