    Good Girl or Bad Girl?

I don't know if I have the IQ to get involved in this discussion, LMAO, but Decki, THIS:

Have you ever known people that are quite genius? They amaze you with the intelligence they have and yet in everyday life they just do not have the brainpower that god gave a goose.

made me nearly wet my pants, I was laughing THAT hard.

Ah, your southern charm and wit, Decki, only ONE of the million reasons I love ya!!!

Glad to see you found me first before I was riddled with guilt for not getting in touch faster
. If you are talking about me, I'm very happy I could help, even in a little way.
Is it not amazing how the Social people are usually attracted to the intellectual people? I know I am. Half the time I don't "get" them...but it does not stop me from admiring them. lol
I'm not attracted to either group, I just like people on an individual bases, I don't care who/what they are.
BTW...If you are truly of the one class, then that beautiful wife of yours must be amazing!
The only class I belong to, is, the Smart/Dumb A$$ class...lol...and yes if you really knew me, you would know just how Amazing my wife really is to put out up with me. 27 yrs with me, how does she do it, women are simply amazing, and deserve a hell of a lot more respect in my opinon. Some interesting posts on this thread.

My first wife once asked me why I was so interested in (read: preoccupied with and distracted by) mathematics and physics. I replied "Because numbers don't hurt me."

    Clue #1.

And as J-ex-W observed: After many many years, I was diagnosed as having sleep apnea (no, my tonsils and adenoids were not removed when I was a child...after all, Armageddon was right around the corner!!)

    Clue #2

I've indulged in the typical American high-carbohydrate diet for most of my life, including more than my fair amount of alcohol.

    Clue #3

But I'm way too smart to be totally clueless: #1 and #2 have been resolved, and I'm still working on #3.

Sparkplug: Some people are concrete thinkers, they see the world around them in a practical, detailed way. Others are intuitive, they see the "big picture" but not necessarily what's right in front of their face (I know, because I'm one of those). Neither way is right or wrong, just different. You might want to check out: Humanmetrics.com, and take their personality test. It's based on the theories of Carl Jung and Myers & Briggs. Read the profiles of the other personalities as well (there are a total of 16). You may be able to pick out the personalities of your ex's and get some insight.

From reading some of you posts, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you are an ESFP. I think you ex's may have been NT's. I'm and ENFJ. When you go to Humanmetrics you'll know what I'm talking about. Let me know what you find out.

JexW: That's cool! I've found a lot of NF's on here. I think that's why it's so warm and fuzzy.

Shhhhh.......don't tell JusticeOne......he might say this is where all the bleeding heart, hand-wringing liberalism on this board is coming from!

    INFP

For INFPs the dominant quality in their lives is a deep-felt caring and idealism about people. They experience this intense caring most often in their relationships with others, but they may also experience it around ideas, projects, or any involvement they see as important. INFPs are often skilled communicators, and they are naturally drawn to ideas that embody a concern for human potential. INFPs live in the inner world of values and ideals, but what people often first encounter with the INFP in the outer world is their adaptability and concern for possibilities.

But it was hard because if I chose the one that had a 50 50 toss on one catagory...I came up with:

    ISFP

For ISFPs the dominant quality in their lives is a deep-felt caring for living things, combined with a quietly playful and sometimes adventurous approach to life and all its experiences. ISFPs typically show their caring in very practical ways, since they often prefer action to words. Their warmth and concern are generally not expressed openly, and what people often first encounter with ISFPs is their quiet adaptability, realism, and "free spirit" spontaneity.

    Red..I aM NOT...

    Bold On the money

    Dominant Introverted Sensing

Dependable, reliable and trustworthy, they like to belong to solid organisations that are reasonable in their ambitions and loyal to their employees. They feel useful when their roles and responsibilities are clearly established and they can monitor their activities and productivity in tangible ways. They tend to be rather modest, traditional and conventional, to like sensible clothing, to be thrifty, careful and wise with both money and possessions.

Once they accept a project, they will see it to the end. They manage their time well and are realistic about how much time and resources will be needed.

They tend to like to stay in one neighbourhood, often choosing to live close to where they were themselves raised. They are often involved with volunteer organisations and have a developed sense of citizenship and accountability. When they purchase something, it is after careful consideration; rarely will they buy something without having a known need or use for it. They may keep possessions for a lifetime and treasure those that were given to them.

They tend to have a good memory for specific facts that are necessary in their day-to-day life at work and at home. They accumulate facts and details to orient themselves, relying on repeated experiences that have been proven trustworthy.A fact once experienced may be the product of circumstance and happenstance; it is not in and of itself reliable. When an introverted sensing type hears an idea, they rummage through reams of archived facts to find an experience that provides information for the relevance and realism of an idea. When an introverted sensing type utters, "It's never been done!" they are saying that no information about the relevance or usefulness of the idea is available to them. They tend to shy away from surprises and what is perceived as unnecessary change.

    Dominant Introverted Intuition

Without introverted intuitives, it is said that Israel would have had no prophets. Under deceptively conventional appearances lie perceptive minds that travel the breadth and depth of universal mysteries, contemplating its multilayered complexity, seeking the trends that will define the future. With time, clarity of vision comes. When it comes, they are propelled towards the vision and all their actions lead to it. They are perseverant behind a quiet exterior and will often come back with their vision long after everyone believes they have let it go.

What they see is so clear and obvious to them they are often surprised to find that others cannot see it as well. They may find it difficult to articulate the necessary steps towards implementation or to explain how each goal fits into the larger picture.

Their mind usually travels from the past to the future, seeking to fit a particular situation in a large context. It picks up patterns, symbols and images from different seemingly unrelated fields, identifies similarities and provides meaning. This can help solve problems by juxtaposing ideas, finding analogies or simply by rooting out the quintessential reality, discovering the origin in universal stories and human experiences, culling wisdom from the infinitely small to the infinitely large. Their mind naturally travels from the microcosm to the macrocosm.

They regularly have to face the difficulties of bringing dreams into reality. The time and effort it takes is always more than what their intuition initially suggested. They are determined, perseverant, inspired and often see things just around the corner, into the near or far future.

Pretty fun test. Thanks Becca. I will have to read more...but right now, I have to go to bed.

Oh and ONAcruse...I laughed really hard at your observations. Made no sence to me. lol
