  1924 "It has never been proven that a single disease is due to germs." {GA Jan 16 1924 250} [This was dozens of years after medicine had proven bacteria and viruses caused most diseases. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society instead taught that diseases caused germs, and that medical evidence that germs caused diseases was entirely false. The diseases themselves were actually caused by improper diet and constipation, and fewer than two regular bowel movements in the day would have dire effects - you would contract any number of diseases in short order.]

To what extent the nerve endings of the body and the new heart are able to make some connections in time is not clear, but this cannot be ruled out as one of the several factors causing the serious mental aberrations and disorientation that doctors report are observed in heart-transplant patients. These patients have donor-supplied pumps for their blood, but do they now have all the factors needed to say they have a 'heart'? Poor little innocent bible studies will never know these things.

  There are some that were Jehovah's Witnesses that have become Bible Students. Whatever blows your skirt up is fine with me, If that wet blanket feels fine, whatever.

  On the other hand, your sharing of the ramblings of lunatics from CrazyTasy all the way to recent history is something that they just cant deny. From day one the movement has been a monument to false prophesy.

  I had printed out the full thing to keep and recently ordered one of Randy Watters booklets "Spiritual Food at the Proper Time" and it is the same list.
  
  It's very good info to have - it even included info on the Jimmy Swaggart sales tax issue.
  
  It is unbelievable all the quotes about 1975 and then for them to turn around and say it was our fault for believing 1975 was the end.

  Your list is very damaging to the credibility of the WTBTS.
  I do have a few things to point out with your "currently" section:
  
  CURRENTLY no brother wearing a beard is allowed congregational privileges.
  If you go to extremely rural areas (Northern Maine), or extremely cold areas (Alaska, Greenland) you will find that some elders and others with privileges have beards.
  
  CURRENTLY no JW is allowed to work as a police officer or any other occupation where he carries a firearm.
  I personally know of 2 witnesses who hold jobs with firearms.
  the first is an animal control officer - is a pioneer
  the second is a police officer (says he has rubber bullets) - MS in his hall
  
  CURRENTLY all Sisters are required to wear dresses to all meetings and field service. No pants, jumpsuits, shorts etc. allowed.
  Sisters in my hall do wear pant-suits to meetings. They aren't pioneers, but they aren't kicked out either.
  
  CURRENTLY No JW who owns his own business can perform any service on church or military institutions.
  Brother I work for has done work on churches without anyone saying anything. He is in charge of the sound department.
