This guy also claims to have found the ark of the covenant, Noah's ark and other assorted Bible proofs. He is an amateur archaeologist-which is what any of us is with a shovel if we want to claim it for ourselves. He is dead now, his widow and former business associates carry on his work.
Wyatt was a Seventh Day Adventist and claimed that angels told him he would be revealing the Ark of the Covenant at the end times-or when the world accepts the mark of the beast. Which they claim is the world proclamation of Sunday as the Sabbath (as a law) and the churches accepting it.
JWs are related (though they will usually vigorously deny the connection) to adventists in their origins.
Interestingly, my mom sent an article on this very subject to me a few days ago. Can't tell her ANYTHING about the org, but she will believe things online about Wyatt and will accept the things he said as the things he said. Wonder why she didn't give him as much of the benefit of the doubt as she did the JWS?
