Tony Dungy (and Jim Irsay, too) gives me the creeps- I see him on TV all the time and you would think he has an inside track to God on being "blessed" with a winning year.

Mother Theresa isn't without her critics. But Jesus and the angels aren't going to kill her. That I am sure of. How nice it is to meet people or come to know of them through the media and not have to curtail one's like for them because they aren't JW's and hence in line for "destruction".

JWs would say Tony Dungy was like the foreign boys Dinah was associating with, they were the kindest, most well behaved of their people, and they still raped her. Tony Dungy to them is no better than a rapist whose act of rape led to the slaughter of many.

Some would reason this way, and others would say "oh what a nice guy Tony is" and never put two and two together (like the sisters quoting Oprah).

The conductor told me that every (other) religious leader was a hypocrite. Martin Luther King Jr,

In a recent college course I took we had to read MLK's "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" and I have to say that it is one of the most powerful things I've ever read. And if I had been a JW and read that, again the cog diss of this guy supposedly being a drunken false shepherd babylon whore man of lawlessness and all that would have just about given me an aneurysm.

Yeah, he went a little too far when he said something to the effect that God put them behind by 18 in the game against the Patriots as part of His preparing them for their ultimate victory. That smacks of delusional religiousness. Maybe he's not so great, lol. Oh well.

AA: Your post was hilarious because it is SO TRUE!

DanTheMan: My grandmother, a nominal Catholic, was the best person I ever knew. She was self sacrificing, honest, generous, kind, unpretentious, humble, and

full of love for others. She delighted in doing good things for other people. I grew up a JW and could NEVER fathom the thought that a just God could ever have anything

but compassion and love for the gentle soul that I knew this woman to be. I now know why. The JW's do have their own God, but it isn't the true one.

    Thanks for yor posts.
