I went through the same thing, they asked the same questions. they ask all those questions to find out Exactly what happened, without leaving out major details that could have an effect on the decision. When they asked me, I told them exactly what happened...every detail. And they could easily tell I was disgusted at what I did and I wanted to do everything nessasary to move past this. I was privately reproved. It's all in your attitude, you had a non-repentant attitude, and either justified what you did, or blamed it on your father or the elders. That's why you were df'd, you are a perfect example of why they ask specific questions like that-it brings out your true colors...

MY ELDERS from my first judicial committee at 19 TOLD ME THEY KNEW I WAS REPENTANT but they "had to make an example out of me" to the congregation, "so as not to stumble the other young ones." What I don't understand is where on earth could they find the scriptural justification for this kind of questioning? Did Jesus ever take any sinners aside and ask for specifics about their sexual misconduct? How about the Samaritan woman at the well? She was guilty and yet he treated her with love, kindness and dignity. He pointed out her general sin and then told her to "sin no more".

What about the Bible verse that says it is a shame to talk of the things done in secret?

Would an active JW not see how perverse this really is?

Just for the record I didn't give a damn about being df'd and still don't. I was not disgusted by what I did and never will be. Sex is not a disgusting act it's normal for everyone but JW's. JW's in case you don't know this are the most sexually repressed people I know of.

Yes I was asked the same questions from the elders after I was raped. They needed to determine whether it was rape or not. I guess the fact that guy was arrested and charged with rape wasn't enough proof for them.

There is absolutely no reason what so ever they need details. Are you telling me that If you tell them you had oral sex, it will help them to see if your really repentant? If you tell them who took off your clothes, it tells them your repentant or not? HOW LONG it took? Please, give me a break! I think you just enjoyed it as much as they did!
