Why no separate section for poetry?

I have seen incredible numbers of poems on this board since i came here.

The Renga challenge, started by littletoe is an outstanding one at present.

There is a topic for humor, and for adult.

I think poetry is so obviously important to many on this board it should have its own topic section.

I could see that. Poetry, and a section for videos.

I would like to see a seperate poetry section as well.

I have a collection of ex-JW poetry on my hard disk.. maybe we could create a sort of anthology together.

A few years ago, I visited Bethel, and they were just planning to have a new painting on the wall. Of course, it had to be 'approved' of first... Plato's Totalitarian State Art Censure :)

We can do better than that!

I'd love to see such a section here too. I think LittleToe once created a thread, asking why a relative few seem to respond to poetry threads. As a writer of quite a few of them I've wondered that too. I guess it's just not everyone's cup of tea.

Maybe because no one likes it, or at least not too many.

Does Watchtower history in haiku count?

Yes, I too wrote much poetry about the JWs when I left the lie, and for a few years after. Maybe I should get a site together, unless we could get a spot here, and that would be much cooler. Simon?

Blogging, journaling, writing exposes, and poetry are all wonderful ways to deal with a dysfunctional relationship. I would love to see a section of the site for CREATIVE WRITING itself.
