Hi purps,
My intent with this post is by no means meant to hijack your interesting thread. I just received an interesting question by PM that I thought would be interesting to others so I will quote from that as follows:
I understand you meant a humorous remark, but I >don't exactly understand what you meant by it. Does it have anything to do with the link you >posted? Did the graph make you think of a circle? I'd love to hear a comment!
It was merely, as you suspected, a humorous stretch.
The illustration that Purps pasted could have been from that link I found and posted. I don't really know what the illustrator's intentions were but for some reason he chose to use arc segments. Interestingly, on that link I posted, another illustration merely used rectangular segments, not arc segments.
Arcs, of course, are segments of circles. For curiosity, following your question, I imported that graphic into AutoCAD -- the engineering program I used during much of my working career. That way I could actually measure the arc angle, which turns out to be 44 degrees. Proportionally, 44 is a decimal fraction 0.122 of 360 degrees in a complete circle.
I suspected (but am wrong) that the fraction could equate to the ratio of pages in the book of Revelation with respect to the pages of either the New Testament or the entire Bible.
I don't know what his intent was.
I then proceeded with the other stretch, that of the Pyramid of Giza. Remember how the Society thought (prior to 1928) that its proportions prophetically pointed to the last days?
My stretch was indeed intended to be humorous. Stretches by the Society, however, (like the Pyramidology) have, in effect, negatively impacted lives.

I had one of those diagrams once. Someone in the congo had given it to me .I used it since I could find nothing wrong with it. But it was entirely unofficial, drawn up by somebody and not published by the WTS

New Worldly Translation
Hmm interesting post Fatfreek.
I always thought of Revelation as spherical claptrap cos any direction you look at it it's still claptrap.
