A .gi file is a global image file that can be burnt to disc with most disc burning progs.
Such as ISO Buster, Sonic and Magic Disc.

Watchtower Library 2006 CD- Rom Available.
Dear Brothers and Bible Students,
As you may be aware the Watchtower Online Library (wol.jw.org) dates 2000-2014. This 2006 release of the CD-ROM Watchtower Library covers publications dating 1970 – 2006. Including Watchtower and Awake Indexes, with some articles dating back to 1950.
I have written installation guides; “Complete PC install” and “Create CD ROM/DVD.” The instructions are in the comments section of the torrent page...(if one does not work try the other, if links broken please let me know.. thanks)
