OMG , they have got to be kidding . All this antitypical jew forgleaming the christians . I looked up some of the scriptures quoted and I don't see any connection between the festival of nissan 16 and jesus waving a sacrifice at God . I think if anything it was more obvious from the scriptures quoted that they have the 2 folds of sheep dogma wrong . It clearly says that the the barricade between jew and gentile was destroyed and they can now all be equal , there was no more enmity . I'm like shaking my head after all that how the bull represented christs sacrifice for the "annionted" the goat for the great crowd and the one set free for the sins of mankind . Just where does it support that in the new testament ? I certainly didn't see any scriptures quoted supporting that . I think they were just offering opinions . That was just more WTBTS smoke and mirrors.

Yeah, I mentioned this to my folks at the family study. I could see the scriptural connection between the passover lamb and Jesus, but everything else really didn't have much of an explanation. Eventually my folks just had to fall back on "Well, the Faithful and Discreet Slave TM gets special information on the meaning of this. I mean, they just don't sit around and come up with explanations!"

Oh, oh, oh the irony, my dear mother...the irony of it all! And you don't even see it....

When I read these articles on your posts, Blondie, I realize why my brain is so fractured at times; the illogical jumps and leaps of illogic in each paragraph and "subheading" trying desperately to tie together a patched up and pathetic theology.

It scrambles my head to read it.

let me first introduce myself. I'm a JW : where else, etc (no small question), and excuse my english.

What triggered my stepping in this forum was the question of readers article about the initial and final sealing of the anointed ones. One can't but be puzzled by the easy way the remaining remnant, I mean those who will eyewitness the GT, trie to secure for themselves a snug salvation without experiencing much trouble. Whereas we have been explained at lenght over the last hundred years that the anointed are rewarded with the heavenly hope after they have gone over heaps of trials, some crafty ones have found a better way out by getting their definitive sealing BEFORE the begining of the GT. One shivers at the idea that some sarky opposers might point out that there is definitely too much injustice and inequality, and not only in this dying world but also within the WTS. One can imagine what will be the reaction of the poor resurrected Malawyan brothers and sisters who were "encouraged" to keep their integrity by not getting a party card and let themselves be chopped off 30 years ago. Let's leave it in Jah's hand, He who probes hearts.

Here are some observations I made during the study in addition to yours Blondie:

Par1: If these issues were that important: how does that reflect on Gen 11 where God
made sure that men could never achieve what they wanted......

par 7: The seed: Peter identifies only one seed: Jesus in acts 3:26. This corresponds with Pauls teaching in Galatians 3:7-9, 14-16
1) the seed is Christ, these two annointed did not apply to themseles and their contemporaries the designation secondary part of the seed
2) the blessing = to be turned away from wicked ways....

Par12, 13: Why does Paul in Hebr 9 and 10 compare Christ´s sacrifice with the sacrifices offered in the first tent, being
the tent they used in the wildernis? Please note that he made no reference to the temple of Solomon or the temple of Herod
I wonder why that is.....because the ark was not in there anymore, perhaps? So how could the Israelites get reconciled
with God if the highpriest could no longer come into the presence of God?
In addition: How could the pagan Pharao have taken the ark without being killed??? The same goes for the philistines who

par 16,17: first: it was a festival after the harvest was gathered......the application does not fit the circumstances.
according the the WT we now live during a time of harvest. So, what is it: festival or work?
second: Numbers chapter 29 contains the offering of beasts on more than one day...a quick reconnaisance shows that
70 bulls, 14 rams and 98 lambs were killed....What would then the application of those animals be in addition to applying?
the bulls to the 70 families that are mentioned in connection to Noah?

OMG . An organization that claims not to go beyond what is written comes out with dogma that's not even backed by the new testament is now allowed to do so without anybody questioning it? come on already , this is nothing but speculation and conjecture . They also claim they are only spirit directed and not inspired so that they can only explain what the scriptures say and not add to them . This stuff in this article reminds me of stuff that guys like benny hin or televangelists come up with . I do tune in occassionally .

If the idea is to switch people's minds off by these dull studies, and then let them read how its all true (despite no proof), so as to get that hour of their lives over, then they are doing a good job. People will just see the things they have been programmed to over so many years and will not require any thinking ability, but will leave it in the hands of the writers. Unfortunately they are just saying these things foreshadow this or that, which again makes loyal dubs think they are right, and yet any normal person can see there is no indication of foreshadowing at all.
