I wish at some point that all those weird and unloving (but not really personal) reactions will lead them to understand how far they are going because of their attachement to this cult.
Im so angry right now

Yes, they have a very distorted way of looking at things! Hopefully your grandma will set them straight.

Ah, Es, I am so sorry your father is treating you this way. Also, sorry you lost your uncle. Were you very close?

What a cute family you three make. Best of luck with it! Let me guess, your Dad probably has nothing to do with his grandchild too.

Sorry to hear about your great uncle.Also that your father didn't have decentcy to tell you in person.
But its something that JW's do.
There are those on this forum who have not even been told their Father/Mother/Brother/Sister has died, never mind a great Uncle.
Or as in some occasions they find out months later from someone else.
As in one occasion an ex-JW found out her mother had died two months previously, after meeting her parents neighbour in a supermarket, who told her.
It sems death is not considered an "emergency" that they need to let anyone know about.

I'm sorry about your loss. All those older relatives have specially funny little places in our memories, esp. if not especially close. We know we have such a limited view of them, but they connect us so much to all that came before. And losing them is losing a piece of our ties to our history.

Just trying to clarify:
Your great uncle just died last night, right? They haven't buried him yet?
Anyhow {{{hugs}}}
