Dear friends,
Just had someone ask me about the change from the Millions now living will never die, to: Millions now living may never die. Is it in print, or was it a taped talk where the change is made. I know I have seen it and so have my parents, however, I cannot remember where. Do any of you know???

A public talk titled "The World Has Ended; Millions Now Living May Never Die" was first delivered on February 24, 1918 in Los Angeles, California. Five weeks later, on March 31, 1918 the title was changed to indicate absolute certainty: "The World Has Ended; Millions Now Living Will Never Die." The public talk continued to be delivered under that same title until 1925. The material was published as this book in 1920. This book may be of interest to students of human psychology and students of religious movements, particularly millennialist apocalyptic, "prophetic" religious movements. It is now republished in a larger, easy-to-read format for purposes of research, scholarship, teaching, news reporting, commentary or criticism. With the exception of the rear cover, every page is a photographically enlarged duplicate of the original publication. Once hard to find, this reprinting makes this historic book available at a reasonable price.

History shows that the public exposure of these facts actually began before 1922. For example, the lecture "Millions Now Living May Never Die," first delivered in 1918 and published in booklet form in 1920, told of Christendom’s failure and of the approaching end of this world.
What is so bizzare, is we typed in the 2003 Watchtower CD-ROM "Millions now living will never die" and then typed in "Millions now living may never die" and got all kinds of places under both where they were saying both. Talk about the right hand not knowing what the left hand is printing!!!

I've noticed some Watch Tower Corporation writers are incompetent. How much of the incompetence is stupidity and how much is willful malice, I'm not sure.
I still have a copy of the original book. I think I'll keep it because it is so widely known. Have you ever heard this:

For a while there, I actually wanted to make a comic (or even a cartoon using Flash animation) based on the premise: "You too can live forever in a paradise Earth...as zombies!"
I figured there's be Witnesses hanging out at graveyards waiting for the dead to be resurrected. Then they go to help them out of their graves...
"Hey, Brother! Let me help you up there--"
...and then get their brains eaten cause that's what zombies do. It's mostly a lot of running and crying and wetting after that.
I think my sense of humor may lean a tad toward the dark side. Maybe. ::Shrugs:: Who can say?
