Walk out of the room. Go to the movies.
He could determine what ever he had to argue over with me on his own.
He would also be remembering/regretting that statement for a while.
Also... I hope I am never with a man that would say something as mean and hateful to me over something so trivial (in the grand scheme of things) as finances. -

Actually, Kate and I have never had an argument about finances, and though I may know more "things" about a lot of "things" than she does, she's still a wayyyy smarter person than I am.
