Name the favorite thing your pet does

  I have two cats.

  One is a fat female cat. I have one of those soaker tubs and when I soak in it, she will sit on the back ledge and bury her head in my hair and just purr up a storm. I love that!

  My male cat is very active. He has the most amazing vertical jump. He loves his feather on a stick (friend of mine once said "if only our lives could be that simple, to be motivated by a feather on a stick, to think towards the end of the work day "I cannot wait to get home to my feather on a stick"). When I am playing with him and I hold it up really high, he does Michael Jordan style jumps to get it. When he gets the feather in his mouth, he will then drag it around the house, hitting things because it is so long, but he does not care, it is his catch and he loves it.

  Whenever I say "let's go for a ride (or walk)" my dog jumps around like a 5 year old headed to the fair. I like that he's so excited.

  As most already know, I lost my dog K. over 2 years ago. I adopted his great nephew and this dog is soooooooo sweet!!!!! He is the sweetest dog that I've ever had! I still miss K. but he could be a handful at times. This dog has never chewed up anything of mine. He always gets his own toys to chew on. If any of you have ever had a lab, you know they will chew your house down for the first couple of years!!! He is only a year old and I keep waiting for him to act out.....He also loves to be hugged, just like a person.

  Swalker have you ever read Marley & Me. Great book and hysterical. If you have not read it, I think you will like it (and identify w/ it)

  When I hold any of my snakes, they usually want to crawl away. It's nice though when you just hold them and they sit there and watch tv with me.

  ::If any of you have ever had a lab, you know they will chew your house down for the first couple of years!!!
  
  I have a chocolate lab, he's only couple of months old and he is really good about only chewing on his toys too.
  If I'm on my computer he'll come over and fall asleep at my feet. If I do a face mask, I usually use one that's a mud mask, it's really dark black. He'll bark and bark at me when I have it on as if he doesn't know who I am. Even after I wash it off he's really suspicious of me for awhile. It's hilarious.

  Our budgie bird has to be my favourite...it mimmicks the sound of the burglar alarm, sneezes, laughs, wolf-whistles, etc. But the thing that cracks me up the most is it does such a great mimmick of the guinea pig I have a hard time figuring out which is actually making the sound...the bird or the pig!

  I miss the cats climbing on my chest and belly at night. They are so sweet and cuddly then. I also like them rubbing against me to mark me as their property. You don't own a cat; they own you (and your property). That's why they had to go live outside; they kept peeing in my bed.I miss their company, though.

  I can't stand the dogs downstairs. They are always in the way, making noise, stinking things up, making me sneeze. I can live without dogs.

  I love all animals. I grew up w/ dogs, but currently have cats cause they are lower maintenance. I live in the concrete jungle, so it would be mean to have a dog here because they would never see green grass.

  I am lucky cause I am not allergic to anything. I have to say though that birds do creep me out. I have had a bad run w/ them. I would take care of my friend's birds and they were a wee bit frightening. They would peck at me when I would try and change their food/water and lining at the bottom of their cage. Reminded me too much of The Bird by Alfred Hitchcock.

  No, I keep forgetting to get it...I heard it was wonderful!!! (It sounds like my first lab K.)
