I admit, I do judge people, but I try not to, so kick my ass if I get self righteous or judgemental again!!!

I am glad that you are still with us winnie. I also thought I might have pushed you away due to my comments and was beating myself up for it. Although I don't agree with your position on JW's posting here, I do remember having some of the same frustration that you are having. Please stick around winnie, we need your perspective and your comments.

I'm glad you're still here, too, (((winnie))). We really are all in this together and everyone needs from this forum what they get from this forum. Active JWs become inactive JWs every day because of JWD welcoming everyone. I am proof of that, as are many others.

Glad you are still here Winnie...everyone has valid points to express..I know for myself it is always good to hear all sides. Personally I like your fiesty side...shows the JW cult does not control you any longer. Just remember anger is just the outward manifestaion of pain. Hope to hear more of what you are thinking and feeling.

((((((Winnie))))))) I'm so glad you came back! Don't worry. You're not alone in your feelings, chere! When I first located xjdubyas online in a chat room, I got out my "too-wedgied words" and was hackin' at jdubyas right and left. The anger is part of the healing process. I got past it. You will, too.

Hi there Winnie - I didnt say the thread that got everyone so heated but wanted to comment on your thought above about being judgemental and to point out that we are raised from birth as JWs to judge others - we are told not to but the examples we have and our immediate role models all do it, so we cant help that. We have to unlearn it - I am still trying not to be so - I've managed to get it down to about 3 or 4 types of behaviour or character now!!!!

Crumpet is so right. There are so many insidious viewpoints that the Faceful of Excrete Slave has instilled in us that we don't recognize. I too catch myself thinking strongly in areas that are not necessary to accomplish my journey out of the borg.
I haven't been to the Hall in nearly two years now and yet the other day a business person who came to our home noticed a witness cassette case in a dead vehicle we have and asked if I we were witnesses. It was a knee jerk reaction to say yes. He wasn't from our area, but not too far. I realized that I don't consider myself a witness any longer but I'm not on a campaign to convert others, per se, it was just easier than engaging this zealot in any sort of useless conversation.
For me, even two years out, it was a milestone that I took the WT and AWAKE at the doctor's office and trashed them. Some evils run deep.
As you see fit, share more of how you've coped with your various trials and it will only strengthen others to reach your level of resolve in due time.

You can get righteous and judgmental all you want. It's good every so often to find someone to disagree with, and have it out.
