Are you all keeping your belief in the Return of Christ? In what form or way?
Yes, and in immortal human form just like the way He was when He went up. That is why the men in white robes said:
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
This took place after 40 days of preaching about the Kingdom to them while He remained here in the flesh after His resurrection as an immortal human being. This is somthing our Lord still has as shown in the texts.
1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
And our Lord continues to possess such immortality which He will also bestow on all mankind He selects to be in this Kingdom. He is not coming back simply to raise the dead once again. He is coming back to stay and rule with His followers for the duration of this Kingdom rule. This is after all our hope as well.
Ro 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. How all this stuff about leaving the planet and becoming non-human beings got started is the real mystery as it is nowhere taught in scripture.

Welcome despite your sadness. Divorce certainly ends one type of happily-ever-after. But it doesn't have to end all of it.
Faith is about Hebrews 11:1 and the reality that Paradise is soon, despite all the fog and the blackness in the world, spiritually speaking. Now where do we go from here? Lift up your head, and know that Revelation 21:3-5 is still true. The tears will be wiped away and the pain will be no more, because our Creator has a bright, new world ahead.
The search engine is being updated. The fashions around are being updated. But God remains true, despite all the lies people tell. Even if everybody was a liar, God would still remain true. That's a fact right from the Bible.
Trust is a hard thing some times. It's easy to feel that there's just greedy people out there, looking to knock us down. But Christ will still return, I believe it. Those that are ruining people's lives will have to reform quick or be gone. The money- making religion, the ugly pride and lovelessness — it will all be gone, gone, gone!!
You read in the paper that 66% believe that he could return in 2007. Maybe it's true, like when people were guessing when Christ was baptized. Time will tell. The day Christ is told to go into action, that's when he'll know - that's what I figure. When he goes into action, it wouldn't be long before "every eye will see" and know.
Jehovah never lets us to be tested more they we can handle. If we hang in there, we can be mighty surprised at the nice changes that Jehovah can bring our way. We just have to "grow where we're planted", a faithful elder told me. You might be surprised, if you got to know more people in your Congregation that the "hypocrisy" is already exposed. If not, the Circuit Overseer's surely a nice, humble man who'd hear you out. In the meantime, you just keep right on praying and looking into God's Word and doing who you know is pleasing to Him (like going to all the Kingdom Hall meetings) and being as encouraging and upbuilding to others as you can (even you can't talk to most of the people at the Hall). You might have some that still keep on to try to cause you trouble, but there will be those who will be there for you, never you mind. Keep picking up your magazines and reading them. Sing for Jehovah. No one can stop you.
Am I keeping my belief in the Return of Christ? Yes, ma'am! In what form or way? By encouraging whatever folks I see with their head looking down.
It all looks to be in a fine category to me! I wish you all the best

I've been reading a lot, too much. I am just lonely. I've been thinking and reading. No one to talk to lately. Trying to prove that I am still a good person.
It bothers me to have my local kingdom hall laughing at me, and I must be a butt of jokes during their car rides. I know I didnt get empathy from them. I still have a few family members that are casual witnesses, but dont have the bravery to really speak out and hope they finaly leave too. They see so many wrong things going on, but still clinging to the Hall like a life raft.
Yes, I can be patient. I know there are others at the Hall seeing, waiting, suffering. I know Christ will give us all immortality with patience, endurance. The research and replies here is very heartfelt .
Proves that goodness is in the heart!

Well post here whenever you want, people will ALWAYS talk to you here. We understand your pain. Everybody has gone through similiar heartache. You are amongst friends now. Although we differ in opinions, we share one common theme - 'we have all been mistreated by the Watchtower'. We are with you every step of the way.

I'm with Needproof on this one as you might expect from a heretic. I am, however, writing a book about such a hypothetical situation. I am what you'd call a writer wannabe. I hope this one might be a winner.
One thing to consider about this subject in general: If we only look at possibilities that we can explain and that make sense (as opposed to something easy, like "I don't know, but since God can do anything...") ask yourself: how would Jesus "fix" the world if he did return?
To me, it seems that he would have to find some way to make everyone just agree, without exceptions, all of the time; period. Maybe not about each and every little thing, but anything that really matters. He would have to eliminate everything and everyone that isn't willing to play by the same set of standards without questioning him (which is a use of brute force and fear) so the survivors would never argue and only look to him for guidance. Thus, they would always be working toward the same goal. Or he would have to go into our heads and somehow change our minds for us, which produces the same effect without all the blood shed. But most of us (me included) would find that pretty unethical as well. That is just another use of force and a subversion of free will.
So how else does he fix the world and turn it into a paradise in the sense that JWs and others believe? Can he do it while still respecting our right to free will? Can he do it in a way that most of us would consider ethical? Is the loss of thinking ability/freewill just the price he would make us pay? Some might actually be willing to pay that.
Not trying to start a feud (I really, really mean that) I was only wondering if anyone had ever thought of another way that might work aside from these two. If the question still gets anyone mad, I'll just ask everyone not to worry about it. Peace. No hitting ,please.

Isaac, your good points is probaly why every government and religions fails. Perhaps Genesis is the only answer.
Pretty strange coming from a divorced person, but if eveyry one had a Adam or Eve partner, true love, and procreated, then everyone can decide their thoughts and actions from the wellbeing of their true love and children.Does everyone inwardly hope to be a Adam and Eve? I did when I married, so..No, not one entity or person can mold thoughts or actions, the motivation has to be within yourself, but what would motivate you?
Only love. When there are predominately married people with kids, society runs pretty smooth because of the huge responsibilty, and caretaking of eachother. I think that is what God had in mind with Genesis?
The best thing to do with a planet is love and children.
Religion I guess is summarized by the set of standards that Isaac explained and resorting to brute force and fear?
Expressing myself here without fear is great. I am a woman so, every thought tumbles into another thought. I have chores to do now, so I will read more later when your search works. and read more, and have a few thoughts or questions later. thanks. So glad this site is availiable.
"Fear no more" should be a moto for this site, there is no fear in love.

ok ok ok,
Not before 2050 ... ... and not in a human forme but spiritually into all ... we will have grown up for good as a whole, we will have been through so much bullshit that at the end we will understand that we need to share and love every space and aspect of our lives whatever kind of life/form it is.
Do you believe me? ... You don't have to ... we can die at any time ...
