Just been to the flics to see this - I think I was probably about 12 the last time I cried in public!
OMG ... what a moving film!
Well worth going to see but take a hanky ...

I am truly looking forward to seeing this movie, Simon. Thanks for the "heads-up."

I took my girls to this movie expecting a Narnia type movie. Not so. Very good movie, but I wish I would've looked a little further into this.

That's definitely one I want to see.

I read the book once when I was in 5th grade. I remember it to this day and was surprised when I saw how they were advertising it. They make it seem to be just another fantasy movie for younger kids, but I wouldn't take my niece. It's a great movie, but I would look into it before taking younger children to see it and be sure you are comfortable with all the material.

It was based on a true life experience of the author though there are 3 "stories," real life, the book's scenario, and the movie's scenario.
The girl in the movie sang some of the songs.
I used to have an imagination like that and got my siblings and the neighborhood kids to go in the woods and act out my stories. Much better than what waited at home.

Greetings Simon,
Last evening's ACADEMY AWARDS has rekindled the fire and attention once given the cinema by me. Not lack of desire but the investment of time and money required. I don't use kleenex - paper towels seem better suited to the needs of this soppy Mediterranean.
Thanx for recommending BTT.Coco

Good film shows a great escape from an unpleasant reality through imagination and frienship. The young actress Anna Sofia Robb is quite talented she was also in Charlie and the chocolate factory.

Interesting.
It looks like a fantasy-type movie, but my hairstylist told me that wasn't so. I'll wait to see it on HBO.
