Some would call that living in the zone. It happens to me every once in a while, like last week when I googled and ended up joining JWD.

I enjoyed your story. Carl jung espoused the theory of a collective unconscious. Its principles of all humans being connected subconsciously are similar to the quantum, perhaps a subset. See wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collective_unconscious about it. I have watched it and attempted to study it as it seems to work in my life, as a dynamic plexus used for continuous negotiations and 'deals'. Meditation illuminates it.

Wow, Steve, great experience! Thanks for sharing it--and re-posting the whole thread. I really never had given these things too much attention. Really did think they were just simple happenstance. And I have to admit that this book, "The Field," is helping me to see that there are good potential explanations as to why such events may be something more than "luck."

I've had several freaky coincidences in last few months myself. Couple of my friends are actually firm believers like you that some of those things are just too difficult to explain by accident alone. I'm not sure yet where to put my finger in that regard but as I said it did get me thinking few times.

Very interesting, sometimes I wonder too. I've had things happen in my life that have made me think- and it does seem there's something to it.
