I would like to try scuba diving because I love the scenery under the sea especially in tropical places with all the colourful fish and other sea creatures. Also hangliding (or some other flying experience) though at times I fear heights. I suppose I'll get used to it.

    Was Pornstar already taken?

I could care less if I got paid for it(I guess that would make me a manslut).

On a more serious note, Nos and I would get along really well if we lived near each other.

singing (in the shower only, cause I'm shy of singing in front of an audience),

I'm thinking it so I might as well make people cough up whatever they are drinking

You mean "the girls" aren't part of your audience?

    my bad

Frannie we are a lot alike in having tried many different things. Many interests came out of a need to save money and learning to make things myself was a necessity.

Some things are just too difficult now because I can't be on my feet long enough to get a project dome - like reupholstery or refinishing.

Well I bit the bullet today and will try a new hobby - quilting. There is a store near me that sells huge garbage sized bags of material good for cutting up and quilting. I might even go back for another bag.

LOL, Lee! What "girls?" But, no, I'd rather not have an audience.....not even for an alarmist wanting to get see a beaver. (snicker/snort)

You are so on the mark about trying many different things out of a need to save money. It really has been a necessity.

I also know what you mean about things being more difficult now. (looks in mirror at fat butt, then looks at bicycle gathering dust and sighs)

I'm so glad you found those quilting materials at a bargain price, Lee. Good luck with that. I've seen some magnificent quilts created and I'll bet you'll be really good at it, chere!

My husband and I would really really like to do a sprint triathlon tog - and then maybe .........

A few in our cong and roundabout had been training before I started fading. I have access to all the facilities nearby - its just a question of putting my mind to it and getting the fitness in. That would be such fun.

awww go on Go for it.

I miss my bike so much. At first it was just to go around the block. But one year I decided to train for Montreal's Tour d'Ile a 70 km cycling event around half of the island. It seemed like such a huge challenge. Slowly I worked my way up to longer and longer rides. The first yeat was so hard but I finished it. What a great feeling. So I decided to try again the following year.

I got to the point where I was doing 100 km 2-3 times a week with no sweat - ok maybe some sweat but I did it.

The challenge to myself was wonderful. The reality of accomlishing it a real boost to my couch-potato self-esteem. How I wish I could still do it

    Go for it
