2012 End of the World?

    I don't believe the 'end' will come in 2012. BUT the Mayans had an amazing knowledge of astronomy and knew things centuries before their time. I think they worked out that the Sun would eclipse the centre of the Milky Way (from Earth's standpoint) in the year 2012, and they were right. That's kinda amazing.

    As I recall the actual date for the end will be December 21, 2012. I guess that means the last Christmas will be December 25, 2011.

    I believe this is sentimentalism and some smart people trying to make money out of such issues just as the WTS has been doing for over a century now. Joseph is trying to play the same trick that the FDS has been so successfully employing for so long.

    But then, you have to adjust because of no year zero and add 1-year ... then subtract 100 years to compensate for the Babylonian calender, you arrive at 1913,but then you have to add 80-years for special mightiness of the last generation, taking you to 1993 ... but then we need to add 10-years for the time that Adam and Eve spent together in the garden of Eden, which takes us back to 2013 ... but then we can resubtract 1-year formargin of erron, thus the year 2012 must be true ... why, it was in the Watchtower all along,but only reveal in this time of Jehovah ... but then what about the pyramids that said it was 1914 based on the number of steps down to pharoh's tomb?
