    I had Mormon's at my door once.They had their Bible and tried to read me some passages.I told them that one time I loaned their Bible from the library and skimmed thru it.I told them that Brother Smith made it all up because it was a bunch of garbage.

    Last year,3 men were at my door all wearing white shirts with no bookbags, just a flyer in their hands.As soon as I opened the door,I told them that I wasn't interested.All they wanted was to invite me and my family to their church since I was new to the neighborhood.I guess they look in the local paper to see who has just moved in.

    I mostly get JWs and Mormons here. We actually have an Adventist church just down the road, but I have never seen them around. Don't they go door to door as well? I don't know where the Mormons are coming from, but the KH is only 2-3 mins away.

    I have had JWs and Mormons in our community at the same exact time on 3 separate occassions. Even had them both come to my door within a few minutes of one another. If this happens again and ends up in a battle to Armageddon grudge match on the streets, I'll tape it and let everyone know. Party time!

    Not really. Jws spend more hrs and time and energy spreading the Goodnews than ANY other Christian claimed religion. So getting a tract through the mail is not all that impressive. Whats impressive is spending MILLIONS of hrs going from door to door every year and doing at thier own cost.

    But the JWs like the Mormons and many others are not preaching the true gospel so their time doesn't really mean much, all it does is find new victims for the watchtower society.

    Well, with evangelicals it's more or less the same. If anything they can outdo JW's with their intricate 'here's-how-it's-all-gonna-go-down-when-the-invisible-resurrected-Jesus-guy-decides-that-it's-time-to-kick-all-the-unsaved-people's-asses,-oh-what-a-glorious-bloodbath-it-will-be' theology.

    I don't know about England, but here in the US it is a federal offence to use a mail box or door letter slot for anything other than US Mail.

    I remember the WTS had to communicate to all US congregations that they should not place literature in mail boxes or mail slots because it is illegal.
