Oh, I remember in my early JW days, I didn't miss an occasion to preach at work.

I was working as electrician in a paper mill, and I remember talking to a colleague about the generation that wouldn't pass.....

Gee, if he saw me today, I,m sure he would remember what I told him, and I wouldn't know what to say...

Lawdhammercy, JH! Did you hafta remind me of that??? j/k

Actually, it's a wonder I didn't get my butt fired off every job I had while a practicin' patriot of the WT-BATS. I'm sure I irritated the hell out of everyone who made the mistake of strikin' up a casual conversation with me.

Well, what are Friday evenings for ?

I remember a JW who was a car mechanic and had his own garage, repairing cars, and he had a stack of watchtower and awakes on the counter next to his cash register...

He had many JW customers, and they must all have thought that he was sooooo spiritual for puting those magazines there....

Every single day of my 31 years as a witness.

Now divorced after 25 years because of seeing the light abouth the " truth "

They are all laughing their ass off behind my back.

I wonder if he counted that stack as placements on his monthly slip?

well preaching at work was one sure way to make sure you don't get too friendly with non-JWs - one more way to control JWs

I am sure you could find something to say JH. Just tell them that you gave up the fine fight of the faith. That over the years you have grown weak. That your zeal for Jehovah has dimished to a luke warm puddle. Tell them you still go to the meetings here and there but dont practice anything you learn. You can tell them now you have chosen to fight not for Jesus but against him, it is a less stressful life not having to live up to Bible standards. You can even tell them that you have become a Cameleon, how you are one way at the meetings and another way outside. You can tell them that you have even went as far as BASHING and making fun of the very ones you associate with on discussion boards to fit in with the rest. Boy there is alot that you could say, maybe just tell them you have hurt Gods feelings and just don't care anymore!

Just tell them....blah blah blah....don't care anymore!

And the best part is you can tell them you got that information from someone who is obviously following the Governing Body's instructions to avoid apostate forums on the internet....
