This is a win-win situation for Hef and bride.
"The one" will have a bigger claim on anything after he dies than the two others.
They will probably be left out in the cold. If she has kids right away, even if he
divorces her or stiffs her in the will, he will provide for his own.

If he divorces her, he'll have to give her something. When it was 3 girlfriends,
all they could expect was Nothing.

If you are wealthy you can get the youngest of women even as an octagenarian or until the day you die. But it makes it pretty obvious that these women are in it for the money. Didn't Heffner have anything better to do than be obsessed with sex and women all his life?
