Thanks Blondie. You are so right w/your observations. That used to bother me. Our PO would always latch on to the phone calls from people who wanted a study. Personally I didn't think it was such a bad idea that the pioneers were kept in mind for handing over b. studies because they needed to get in so many hours and in inclement weather it was a relief to be inside.

We know that is not what they mean, they just cannot openly say HELP OTHERS OBEY WHAT THE ORGANIZATION TEACHES even though that's what they really mean.
Concerning the Bible, it is clear to me that every expression contained in the bible is not the thought and command of God.
The elevation of the entire bible as the 'Word of God' has become a major source of inner conflict for anyone who wants to worship God in the fullness of Christian Freedom.
IMO, the bible 'contains' the word of God along with human reasoning. For instance, Proverbs 31: 6 and 7 is clearly just the 'opinion' of King Lemuel's mother and NOT an indirect Command from God in the form of a so-called "bible principle."
Teaching others to 'Obey the Bible' rather than to obey Jesus and His Father is to place unnessesary restrictions on them.

I agree with Paul only about half the time.

Thanks for the review Blondie...So the GB/FDS is asking us to invit the public to their public meeting to lecture the public on how to study the WT which the don't have and are not suppose to have.This looks like one of those mult level marketing /pyramid schemes.

Thanks Blondie. This is the first time I express my appreciation to you for your efforts but they've helped me for some time now.
I especially like your comments on par.2. The following is what I'd love to say at tomorrow's study if I were to attend:
In one breath the organization tells the workers not to be concerned about the overwhelming lack of response to their efforts- that the success of the ministry is not determined by the results obtained. In the next breath they're bragging about how all the "increases" in disciples and literature distribution are clear, unequivocal evidence of Jehovah's rich blessing. Articles bashing other religions state clearly that a large membership in no way, shape, or form is any indication of God's seal of approval. I'm so confused. Oh wait, that's just how they want it.
Like nvrgnbk I've been benefitting from your WT analysis for some time but this is my first post thanking you for your efforts. I'll be heading to the KH w/my wife in a few minutes. Fortunately it's CO visit so I won't have to sit thru reading of paragraphs.

They really mean to say in the title of the Watchtower study: Help others obey what the Bible Teach Book teaches, not what the Bible itself teaches.

It is simply amazing they get ANYBODY to sit and listen to the same articles, the same paragraphs and the same manipulating counsel week after week, year after year!!! You'd have to be a zombie to just sit there and waste your Sunday listening to THE THEOCRATIC MINISTRY SCHOOL AND SERVICE MEETING on a Sunday and not get upset!!!!!!!!!

They don't mention the FDS, GB, anointed, DF at all in their book.
