The measurement of success in a church is the number of members!

I agree that there are many small Ministries where they help the homeless, widows, and people who are out on their luck. I even respect Mother Teresa. I just don't like these television preachers where they are just marketers.

As a Jehovah's Witness if you are down on your luck, they have no program to find you a job, find some shelter, feed you or find you clothing. Then I know that they are not true christians.

I do not agree with Benny Hinn at all, Joel Osteen has a vast following as do Hinn & Meyer.I think they are teaching their own Gospel ..... Aren't we all being used? Well we could be but isnt it right to examine exactly what we believe or dont believe. FAITH!!! is our own....I have a ministry( helping JWs that are ousted) & believe me I pay for it.!!!... Out of my pension. !!!! I have a Penticostal woman who sends me every Christmas . Last year it was more than she ever did $500.00- used to give $100.00 every year. Now my daughter that goes to a Presbyterian Church is amazed at the Good they do. help in Africa, helps the poor come in from the cold, looks out for those who need help. Etc:etC; she said "Mum our church helps so many ...the WT lies when they say we dont" I think she can prove it.... I think religion (as I have said before )can be used to trap....But I also believe their are many folks IN religion that helps in a charitable way... I dont belong to any religion I am a Christian following Christ.Yep I fail in many ways. But HE knows that I am a fleshy person but my spirit is truly willing :)

Ill step back and avoid the rocks.....

    Who are you?

I'd be willing to bet decent money that not one of the folks who claim that all clergy are hucksters actually know any of the hard-working, front-line variety who deal with all manner of situations...

Add to that list military chaplains on the ground embedded with the soldiers

How would you know? You have no intrest in church aside from empty speculation

    Joel Osteen:

Very little "religious" content to his tele-church. Mostly sugar-coated pablum and "awww-shucks" 'motivational' blathering. Face appears to be made of rubber.

    Benny Hinn:

BLOOMING NUTTER. He looks like the love child of Ricardo Montalban and Herve Villechaise, especially in his ridiculous, Saturday Night Fever "white suits"....scary stuff kiddies...

Possibly the weirdest hair I have ever seen!

    Joyce Meyer:

She scares me. I think she could kick my ass. Most likely a transvestite or perhaps an alter ego of Dana Carvey?

    I can't stop laughing.

Joel Osteen has so much honey in his Ministry, even Black Bears throw up after 5 minutes.

Benny Hinn wears a White Suit because his favorite movie is ''Saturday Night Fever.''
